I am mostly a silent reader of yours, but the other day I was at my sister's house and she was looking at some no-bake cookies to make. Her problem was that they had coconut in them and she does not really like coconut. so I told her to subsitute hemp seeds. (because I read your blog, and well, it seems to work for everything else) so she did! and she said it was pretty tasty.
Hilarious! Yes, by necessity I've found myself subbing hemp seeds for anything - nuts, beans, seeds - and am now sprinkling them on pasta, rice and quinoa for added omega and protein boosts! I'm glad they worked for your sis!

Thanks for the idea (when in doubt - hemp seeds)
